What is bedding sand used for?
Bedding sand beds pipe and buried utilities and sets pavers. It is fine, clean, and screened so it beds evenly and does not damage a pipe or hold water against it.
Is your bedding sand washed or screened?
It is screened clean and uniform. We screen rather than wash: Cantex runs a screening plant, not a wash plant. If your project references a specific bedding gradation, send it and we will match the product to it.
Can I pick up at the pit, or do you deliver?
Both. Bring your truck to the Summerland pit and our crew loads it, or we arrange delivery across the South Okanagan for an additional charge quoted per load. We do not run our own trucks. For a spec crush we bring the plant to your site.
