Concrete aggregate
Concrete aggregate is the coarse rock and fine sand graded for concrete mix designs. In Canada the governing standard is CSA A23.1/A23.2 (not ASTM C33), which BC ready-mix and structural buyers cite. We produce to your mix design.

Common questions
Concrete aggregate, answered.
Not sure which size your job needs? Send the spec and we point you to the right product.
Do you supply concrete aggregate to CSA A23.1?
Yes. CSA A23.1/A23.2 is the Canadian concrete-aggregate standard BC buyers cite, not ASTM C33. We crush coarse aggregate and manufactured sand to your CSA mix design.
What is the difference between concrete rock and concrete sand?
Concrete rock is the coarse aggregate (typically 20mm or 14mm); concrete sand is the fine aggregate. A mix design specifies both. We produce coarse and fine to your gradation.
Is your source consistent for ready-mix?
Consistent source geology matters for ready-mix. We produce concrete aggregate for repeat producers and hold the gradation your mix design references.
Can I pick up at the pit, or do you deliver?
Both. Bring your truck to the Summerland pit and our crew loads it, or we arrange delivery across the South Okanagan for an additional charge quoted per load. We do not run our own trucks. For a spec crush we bring the plant to your site.
