Mobile crushing in the Yukon.

We take the crushing plant north into the Yukon for mine, resource, and highway work, crushed to your spec on your site.

North into the Yukon.

Yukon projects carry long mobilizations, short construction windows, and supply routes that make hauling finished aggregate from the south impractical. The crushing plant and crew can travel to the source material instead, producing the required gradation on the project site.

Every northern quote starts with the same practical inputs: available rock, specification, volume, access, schedule, and room for the spread. Cantex does not operate a Yukon pit or supply aggregate from Summerland at this distance.

Mobile crushing for Whitehorse projects.

Whitehorse is Yukon's main service centre, with the Alaska Highway running through the city and a municipal road network supporting neighbourhoods, utilities, commercial sites, and territorial travel. The City maintains local streets while the territorial government manages the highway corridor, so civil work can involve both urban access and through-route requirements.

For a Whitehorse-area project, Cantex can mobilize the plant to your pit, quarry, or construction site and process your source rock to the gradation the job references. Send the material information, specification, volume, access, and work window so the haul, setup, production, and demobilization can be priced as one scope.

On-site aggregate production around Dawson City.

Dawson City occupies a narrow floodplain at the meeting of the Klondike and Yukon rivers. Municipal planning identifies flood exposure, permafrost, ground conditions, and the upkeep of roads, water, and sewer infrastructure as practical constraints on development in and around the community.

Those conditions reward a clear material plan before equipment moves. Cantex can crush project-owned rock on site for road, utility, mine-support, and civil scopes around Dawson, with the target gradation and testing requirements set before production. The quote should include volume, access, seasonal timing, source-rock details, and the full northern mobilization.

Crushing support for the Watson Lake corridor.

Watson Lake sits where the Alaska Highway and Robert Campbell Highway corridors meet, making transportation infrastructure central to the community. The Town's capital planning covers the condition and renewal of municipal assets, while work near the two territorial highways requires careful coordination of access and traffic.

Cantex can bring the crushing spread to source material near Watson Lake and produce aggregate on the job site rather than haul finished product from the Okanagan. Highway, utility, industrial, and site-development scopes should be quoted from the specified gradation, estimated tonnage, available feed, staging space, schedule, and route into the site.

Mobile crushing in the Carmacks area.

Carmacks lies at the confluence of the Yukon and Nordenskiold rivers, on the Klondike Highway near the Robert Campbell Highway connection. The Village's public works responsibilities include local roads, water, sewer, and other community assets, while the surrounding corridor serves resource and construction traffic.

For work around Carmacks, the practical model is to process suitable project material where it will be used. Cantex can mobilize the plant and crew for road, civil, and resource-site crushing, with no claim of a local pit or stockpile. A quote needs the source-rock description, target specification, volume, access route, available footprint, and production window.

Project-site crushing around Mayo.

Mayo sits on the Stewart River and serves the Silver Trail region. Its official community planning addresses transportation, utilities, community infrastructure, and development in a northern setting where distances and seasonal conditions shape how materials and equipment reach a project.

Cantex can mobilize to a Mayo-area pit, quarry, or project site and turn suitable local rock into specified aggregate on site. That is a crushing service, not aggregate supply from Summerland. To build a usable quote, provide the gradation, quantity, source material, access, staging area, testing requirements, and dates when the site can receive the spread.

Eagle Gold Mine

Eagle Gold is an open-pit gold mine site approximately 85 kilometres from Mayo in the Traditional Territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun. Following the June 2024 heap-leach failure, operations entered temporary closure and Victoria Gold's assets, including the mine, entered receivership. Remediation continues under regulatory orders, and any future mining remains conditional on completing that work and obtaining required approvals.

Cantex offers mobile crushing throughout the Yukon, including the Mayo region. Each potential scope is assessed around site access, source material, required specifications, volume, environmental requirements and schedule.

Minto Mine

Minto is a former copper-gold-silver mine site in central Yukon that ceased operations in 2023. Selkirk Copper acquired the Minto Mine in 2025 and is conducting exploration and technical work toward a potential restart. Any restart remains subject to further studies, mine planning, permitting and approvals.

Casino Project

Casino is a proposed copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project in west-central Yukon, approximately 300 kilometres northwest of Whitehorse. Remote access, logistics and site infrastructure are important considerations as the project proceeds through the YESAB assessment process ahead of a Panel Review.
