We bring the crushing plant to you.

Cantex brings mobile crushing directly to your site, turning your source material into aggregate produced to your project specifications. Based in British Columbia, our crews travel across the province and mobilize into Alberta, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories when the project calls for it.

Not every crushing job is the same. That's why our fleet includes two mobile crushing units, allowing us to match the right equipment to your project's size, location, and production requirements.

Our high-capacity crusher is designed for larger operations where maximizing aggregate production, with a peak run of 600 tonnes an hour, is the priority. Our second crusher is built for flexibility, making it ideal for smaller pits, tighter job sites, and projects with more specialized production requirements. Together, they allow us to efficiently support a wide range of projects across BC and beyond.

Our mobile crushing process.

From initial project planning to final stockpiles, Cantex's mobile crushing process is designed to deliver efficient, specification-driven aggregate production. We work closely with contractors, municipalities, and industrial clients to provide reliable mobile crushing services throughout British Columbia.

    01

    You send the spec.

You supply the gradation, the volume, and the site. We confirm we can take it on.

  2. Screenprint illustration of a mobile crushing plant on a lowboy trailer hauling through the mountains toward a site.

    02

    We mobilize the plant.

We haul the crushing equipment and bring the team to your pit or quarry, anywhere in BC and beyond.

  3. Screenprint illustration of a mobile crusher feeding crushed aggregate down a conveyor onto a pile.

    03

    We crush to gradation.

Using your material, we produce consistent aggregate that meets your project requirements.

  4. Screenprint illustration of a wheel loader building conical stockpiles of finished crushed aggregate.

    04

    We stockpile.

Finished aggregate is separated and stockpiled for efficient loading and your project's next stage.

  5. Screenprint illustration of the crushing plant and finished stockpiles at the pit as the job wraps up.

    05

    We demobilize.

Once production is complete, we leave your site clean and in compliance with the Mines Act.

You supply the gradation. We hit it.

Every project has unique aggregate specifications. Whether your project follows engineered gradations, municipal standards, or custom requirements, our experienced team will crush it.

Our leadership holds mine manager certification, the senior level of BC Mines Act supervision. Our crew includes a shift-boss-certified supervisor, trained to oversee sites running multiple contractors. Our crew is mine-supervisor-certified under the BC Mines Act.

Common questions about mobile crushing.

How far will you travel?

Anywhere in British Columbia, onto Vancouver Island, north into the Yukon and the Northwest Territories, and east into Alberta. Mobilization is priced into the job and settled before anyone rolls.

Do I supply the spec, or do you?

You supply the spec. Whatever the gradation, however prescriptive, we crush to it. Most work now is engineered and needs an engineering approval; we understand what that requires.

How much can you produce in an hour?

The big plant is built for throughput. Its best measured run is 600 tonnes an hour. The rate on any job depends on the rock and the spec you are crushing to. The second plant is more versatile for tighter specs and smaller sites.

What can you crush?

Road base and sub-base, concrete aggregate, drain rock, screenings, and more, from your shot rock or pit-run. Send the spec and we confirm the product.

How is crushing priced?

Per job. Crushing price depends on the rock, the spec, the volume, and the mobilization, so we price it after we see the spec sheet. Pit retail products have set, published prices.

What size of project makes mobile crushing worthwhile?

It depends on the site, material, required specification, and mobilization distance. We've supported projects ranging from roughly 2,000 m³ to 2,000,000 m³, so mobile crushing isn't limited to large-volume jobs. Send us the location, estimated volume, and required product or gradation, and we'll let you know if mobilizing a crusher makes sense for the project.
